18 October 2016 –
I do love how IST celebrates UN (United Nations) Day.
The kids and teachers dress up in either their home country or favorite country costumes. Then there's the parade around the front of the school….and then there's the whole school assembly where groups perform in front of the school. My favorite are the drummers from the next door Japanese school (they're the opening number). And then, best of all, is the UN Day lunch hosted the IST PFO. Can you imagine – foods from all over the world? YUMMY! Best ever.

I hope you enjoy a little cultural diversity as well. You don't need UN Day to do that….explore cuisines. Try something new!!!! I dare you! 🙂
