What is it about the color pink?
It's funny. I just googled "Pink Day" and it turns out it has multiple meanings. I had no idea! For us, Pink Day is all about raising awareness for breast cancer.
In the past the money the school raises helps local Tianjin women receive mammograms that otherwise might not be able to afford them. This year's fundraiser was more personal and closer to home – the school raised money to help with cancer treatment for one of its own. I don't know how much was raised but it FAR exceeded the requested amount.
