morning dive & trip to teeny tiny island

10 April 2014-

Annika missed a chance to see the sea turtle on one of the recent dives Mark and I did (without her)….so we're going to go in search of one this morning with our dive master, Marvin.

Sadly, no sea turtles but still a fun, relaxing, easy dive.  Annika and Marvin went out but since Mark and I had air left in our tanks we went back out for just a few more minutes.

After our dive we hung out at the beach….Mark and I went snorkeling.  We were in search of the black tip reef shark Mark had seen on our first day here.

We found it!!!  (I know it's hard to see in the photo below but it's there):GOPR0788Hanging out at the beach with some mango drinks:

In the afternoon we took a boat across to the *really tiny* island – about a five minute boat ride.  Four hours of bliss…all by ourselves on a beautiful tiny, perfect island.GOPR0796Just perfect!

The girls created a Shell Museum with many of the shells they found on the tiny island.  We found so many beautiful shells (the resort has a no collecting policy).  Annika created signs for her museum…very creative and fun!  The resort provided us with a sun umbrella, beach mats, cold drinks and sandwiches.GOPR0805Annika showing us her museum:
