March 21, 2013-
As it turns out…March has been a crazy busy month for us. Is anyone really surprised???? 😉
Here's a run-down on what's been happening here:
- Fourth grade Art Exhibition
- Parent Tea for First Grade: The kids shared what they learned about the human body for their Unit of Inquiry
- Poetry competition
- Trip to the fabric market with friends (I'm having three skirts and two shirts made!)
- Walk on the Great Wall
- Oh, I've signed up for the 7.5k Great Wall Run (that's happening on May 18th).
- Mark's grandmother passed away (which meant a lightening fast trip to Phoenix for Mark)
- Make arrangements for future trips…and finally booked our home trip flights!
And…today is an important day for Ava. She's made it through two rounds of the poetry competition and today are the finals! They are competing by grade levels. Wish Ava lots of luck this morning! She says she's nervous but I know she'll have fun. Mark and I will be in the audience watching her!
