July-ish 2014
Welcome to Michigan! ……We're ready to play! And visit family! And play some more!
Okay girls…ready……set……GO!!!!
(and boy howdy, do these kids KNOW how to play!)
The kiddos finished swimming:
A favorite family activity: grilling meats over a campfire. Have I mentioned to you how much I love campfires???
How creatively crazy kids. Forest Fairies…or minions. ;-)
Lily created a new sign for their forest village. I think she created this using a magnifying glass and the sun (to burn the words into the piece of wood). Lily's a crafty one (if you hadn't already guessed…maybe she takes after an aunt (wink, wink)):
The debris huts from the previous year were still mostly intact but the kids built additions:
The Forest Fairies flitting about with sticks..
The sign from the previous summer. I think it says "Main Street ->" and "Jay Walk Drive <-":
Lily…Just Lily…this sums up our silly Lily:
Hahahaha!!!
Fishing in the Grandparents' pond:
CORN! Glorious, sweet, ripe, yummy sweet corn from Grandpa's garden:
Little Miss Bonnie playing with a classic "toy". A door stopper!
Saying good bye to Aunt Margaret, Uncle Jon, Miles, Grant and Bonnie as they drive off (back home to ID). Here's one attempt at getting a photo of all the cousins:
Bonnie was NOT happy about sitting still for the photo!!!
Mr. Granty Pants giving Annika a big bear sized good bye hug:
Saying good bye to young Mr. Miles…how big will he be next year??
So…that was Round #1 of MI photos.
