Good bye, Japan!!!

October 7, 2012-

– sigh -

It's Sunday morning.  Time to head out on the train from Nagoya station to the airport (after eating a quick breakfast in the hotel).

– bummer -

I don't want to leave Japan!!!!

On the -long- and slow train ride to the airport.

We're all checked in!  We've returned our cell phone.  We didn't use it very often but it was worth its wait in gold when we needed it (like when we left our suitcase behind on our very first day in Japan!).

What a super squeaky clean airport! Mark divided all his pocket change and gave it to the girls to spend on last minute souvenirs. And here -FINALLY!!!!!- I found the Japanese chocolate (Royce) I've promised my friend, Debbie. I've been looking EVERYWHERE for this chocolate.  It.Is.The.Best.Chocolate!  (you can find it in the coolers in the souvenir shop but let me warn you- I bought most of it!)

A familiar site:

Back on the plane!

After a short and uneventful flight we're back at Seoul airport….one of our favorite airports. ever.  And naturally we're at the Korean craft station:

The girls made these cool and very blue key chains.

The key chain is made of leather that you first stamp (Annika stamped hers with her name) and then wiped with blue ink.

Ava's cute handiwork!

Didn't I tell you this is a nice airport????  They've got a quartet playing lovely music:

The Charlie Brown Cafe:

I think we missed this cafe the last time we came through Seoul!

Well, it's time to wander down to our gate.  Ugh.  I'm not trying to be mean or sound rude but you can tell this flight is going to China.  People standing around our gate are making rude body sounds and it smells awful.  And it's trashier than the other parts of the airport.  And we're getting stared at again as if we're caged zoo animals.  :-(

Sniff. Sniff.

We LOVED our trip to JAPAN!!!!
