Fourth Grade Art Exhibition :: How We Express Ourselves

March 5, 2013-

First of all, we'd like to wish our energetic nephew, Gregory, a very HAPPY NINTH birthday!!!  We love you!

Second of all- we're super excited to check out what the fourth graders at IST have been working on for several weeks.  I know the kids put a lot of heart and soul into their artwork and now it's Show Time:

The kids created their own display boards.

Annika called her painting "Rentrer a la maison"  (French) or "Going Home" (English).  She said it reminded her of the hills in Wisconsin close to our house.  (by the way, some of the other children also did paintings of things that reminded them of home.  So, yes.  We do get homesick!)

The kids discussed their art work with the parents Art Patrons.

The Art Patrons were asked to write helpful observations and positive comments.

The Art Patrons were all extremely impressed at how much the kids poured their hearts and souls into their art work.  You could really tell that the kids really enjoyed creating their unique art pieces and they loved sharing them with the Art Patrons.

Thank you Fourth Graders for a fun and entertaining evening!!!
