It's bubble gum!!! I tried a piece – it was good tasting. Sadly, it's not sugar-free.

The following day this tank of helium (we'd order through a friend on TaoBao) arrived. Ava wanted to do an experiment…we wanted to see how many balloons it would take to lift one of her stuffed toys. We tried to do some initial calculations based on the weight of the toy and the lifting power of the helium.

Anna, Gemma, Poppy, and Ava at the rink. (Annika also got to have friends: Mimi and Vivienne. The older girls were cheaters – they skated only for a few minutes before opting to wander around the mall for a few minutes while the younger girls tried their best to stay upright on their skates! HA!)
