April 6, 2013-
Mark's alarm just went off. Mark has to get up early as he's going on his third, and sadly last, scuba dive. He needs to go eat breakfast and be ready to go by 8:30am.
View from our Garden View room:
And you might be able to get a glimpse of the ocean through the trees:

I think the girls and I will sleep in today and eat breakfast later- just because it's vacation.
****
Oh, but Mark brought me a cup of coffee to tide me over 'til breakfast. :-) Very sweet!
***
Time for breakfast! And truck-stop coffee. Need I say more? Hey, it's all good. (darn, the waffle maker isn't out)
**
Beach!
Beach!
Beach!
**
How about we spend THE ENTIRE DAY at the beach??? We can swim & snorkel & bask in the sun (or, more realistically, the shade).
Amusing lemon-y drink we picked up at the convenience shop:
**
I hope that sounds good because that's *all* we're going to do today. We want to spend our last day enjoying every last bit of the ocean and beach while we can.
***
Mark is back from his last scuba diving trip:
Here's a big puffer fish he saw while diving:
**
We can, however, break for lunch but then it's back to the beach.
**
Beach. More beach.
**
Yep.
**
Beach time! (As they say: I've got beach on the brain!)
**
Is it just me or has the wind really picked up? I can't even see the main land anymore because it's so cloudy. Hmmm….. do you think some weather is heading this way???
****
It's about 6:30pm. We've been swimming, snorkeling, playing & reading for HOURS. It's time to shower off, get dressed and head to dinner!
***
How about dinner at the New Cocohut (Cozy Chalet) restaurant? I love the adore setting and the candles on the tables. Plus, the service is very friendly and quite happy to have us as customers.
Oops. It appears that both of the girls have patches of peeling skin on their arms. Ouch!!!!
***
Mmmm!!! Snicker shakes, curry, coconut cream & lime shrimp, pataya (whatever it is- it's GOOD) and red wine for grown ups. Awesome!!!!
***
Time to settle our bill at our resort and get ready for our big trip tomorrow. ***
Tomorrow we'll take the morning boat to the mainland, get a ride back to Kota Bharu airport, fly to Kuala Lumpur, hopefully have lots of time to visit KL and finally head back to Tianjin via a connection in Incheon. Sounds like a big day to me! Better get some rest!
