Some of you may remember that Tianjin experienced one of the worst floods in the past forty years in early August. I think I may have mentioned that some of the houses with basements in our area were flooded as a result.
Fast forward two months or so at a house on our block…
Do you see the blue hose coming down the stairs? It's dumping tons of water ….coming from inside the house and out the front door. (no, I didn't wander into the house even though it appears to be unoccupied. I assume the water is coming from a flooded basement)
And look at where some of the water is going:
RIGHT BACK INTO THE BASEMENT OF THE VERY SAME HOUSE!!! BRILLIANT!!!
Yep. Welcome to China! Where nothing makes sense and don't ask "why???"!!!!!
