Make-up!
(the photo of Annika was taken by someone else at IST…it's not mine).
Chrissie Akov (she's one of the Drama and English teacher at IST and my friend) is the musical's director…and here she cutting the special cake made in honor of the musical. It's supposed to be in the shape of the Acropolis.
My talented friend Quay…was in charge of make-up for the musical. I helped with the costumes.
Check, check, check….
IT'S SHOW TIME!!!!
International School of Tianjin proudly presents:
Mount Olympus Strikes Back…the Musical!
This year three out of the four Breutzman family members participated in one way or another with this musical production. Annika and Ava were both in the Production Choir while Astrid assisted with the costumes. What a blast! We all had so much fun! Weeks of rehearsals culminating in the final performances.
Here are a few photos from the performances:
This musical was part Greek mythology and part fun (American) pop culture and music. It was lots of fun! Mark and I saw both evening performances.
More photos and videos to come.
