It's a lazy afternoon so why don't we try something new and different? Have you tried taking the commuter trains here in China? We haven't! Our friends have and are willing to show us the ropes. They've ordered two taxis to come pick us up so hurry on over!
Ah…we're at the train station! We've got to figure out how to purchase train passes. The passes are a nifty idea- you can keep recharging them and using them. That way you don't have to buy train tickets every time!
And we took three umbrellas with us….just to make sure it doesn't rain on us! (of course, by dragging the umbrellas with us we ensured it would not rain!)

We left the Tanggu Train Station and were greeted by 1) yelling taxi drivers and 2) an ocean of bikes and motorcycles of all kinds.
What???? What did we do???

Ack!!!! Our taxi driver stopped the car and got out and yelled at the taxi driver behind him!!!!! Should we get out and get a different cab???? Whew. He got back in. Mr. Taxi Cab driver never ever do that again!!!
This was well worth the harrowing taxi ride! Yummy food, good beer and great company…what more do you need?
