and now it’s Ava’s turn!

The second graders at IST are hosting today's assembly but there is a tiny break for short skit on Henri Matisse's The Snail by a few first graders.

Ava and Isaiah are the moderators for this skit. They did a great job speaking clearly!

The art class teaching assistant quickly assisting the first graders in creating their own snail out of sheets of paper.

It's time for the teacher's to award medals to students they've selected that have exhibited a very positive influence or have demonstrated improvement (I think all children will get one medal through out the year).  

And we're quite blessed that Ava was one of three students selected by her teacher to receive a medal today!!!!  She got the medal for demonstrating enthusiasm and curiosity for learning. 🙂

Ava, you continue to amaze us!  Thank you for being you!!!!

And WOW!  I'm super extra proud of my girls!  They both received the first awards from their respective classes.  Good job and keep up the good work!!!!  We're so proud of you!!!!
