Why not just tell me that you have to cancel for personal reasons???? Sorry….I really don't want to know about your personal life. Weird!!!! And no, I normally would never post an email (don't worry!) from someone but this just struck a chord with me and demonstrates how different some of the Chinese people think from the way we Americans think. Maybe I'm way off base but I highly doubt a music teacher would A) cancel a lesson for a DATE and B) tell their pupils (or parents) that they were canceling to go on that date!!!!!I don't know about you but this just makes me giggle!!! 🙂

This is too funny! Kinda like the kid that worked for me for a couple of days, then called in saying that he had 2 “DEATHS” in the family so he couldn’t work. Turns out he just hated the job. Found out he was washing dishes at the local pizzeria. 🙂
Um, wow! NO, this American music teacher would definitely not cancel a lesson for a date!! And it is for sure TMI!!
