First Snow for 2012!!!

December 2, 2012-

YIIIIIPPPPPPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It snowed a teensie weensie bit and the girls are going to make the most of it jumping on the trampoline:

boing…boing…boing….

Sadly, the night after the Advent calendar making party I got REALLY SICK.  Blech.  Not sure…perhaps it's something I ate?  Or…there were lots of kids out sick the past couple of weeks.  Guess I could have picked it up from them.  Whatever it was I felt A-W-F-U-L!!!!!  

Mark took the girls out on Saturday (I think Ava had a birthday party to attend) while I got to take a well needed rest and work on my own Advent calendar.

I cut out numbers from pieces of felt and glued them on to the muslin sacks. I filled the sacks with new Christmas ornaments to hang on the tree.

I hung the fabric sacks along the stair railing.

Annika also decided to work on a craft project.  She made little figurines out of air-drying white clay.  She says they're going to be Christmas gifts!

 Annika asked what I wanted as my Christmas gift.  I told her I'd like her to make me nativity scene:

nativity scene: Mary, baby Jesus, Joseph, angel, Christmas tree, dog and cat.

I hope I feel better soon.  Blech.
