2012 Winter Program at IST

December 5, 2012 –

The classes have been practicing for months for….

THE WINTER SHOW!!!! 

It's Wednesday evening….the kids are super excited and restless to show their parents what they've been working on.  

It's time for Light! Music! Action!

The opening number: "Celebrate with Joy" (Ava is third from the right)

Can you spot Ava? By the way, her hair WAS brushed. …. perhaps with an egg beater!

After the opening number the nursery, preschool and kindergardeners did their fun little numbers.

Now it's time for the first graders!

The kids sang: Holiday Parade, Jingle Jive and Christmas Makes Me Sing 

Time for the second graders…  And now it's time for the N-2 Finale: Song of Peace (the kids are signing to the song).

****Intermission**** 

(Mark fetched Ava so that she could listen to the second half of the program)

Now it's time for Grades 3, 4 and 5 to strut their stuff!!!  These classes are doing instrumental numbers.  Grade 3 played the drums (all about drum rhythms).

Time for grade 4 kids to strut their stuff….playing recorders!

Annika has been practicing on her recorder at home for weeks.  

Fernanda is Annika's partner.

What a Cool Kid! (Mark just pointed out to me that those are my $$ Ray Bans!  LOL!!  At least somebody is getting some use out of them!)

Now the children's choir:

Annika is in the second row up from the bottom, third from the right.

The choir sang the same carols they sung at the Tree Lighting Ceremony at the Astor Hotel.

Now it's time for the grades 3,4 and 5 Finale: Joy to the World (Jeremiah was a bullfrog)!!

Fantastic job kids!
