Crazy Friday!

Oh boy!  The girls are excited this morning!  Today is Crazy Friday at school….that means you can dress up in a crazy concocted costume.  I can't think of any kids that don't like dressing up in silly, crazy and funny costumes!!?! (can you????)

Annika just asked Mark for help creating her costume.  What the heck are they doing?  He's working on attaching his old suspenders to a pair of HIS jeans. HAHAHA!  That's hilarious!  Annika tried on the pants, one of his T-shirts and his shoes on.  She's got her PE uniform on underneath this funny costume.  Add a "grass" skirt (it's hula skirt made of plastic) and a hat and you've got one funky & unique costume.

Ava chose the more subtle approach.  Actually, Ava's every day NORMAL outfit usually is mismatched jumble of shirt and pants or skirt and pants…so I suggested (unwisely) that perhaps she should wearing a MATCHING outfit today.  Huh.  Nope. Ava's not going for that one.  She wants to wear her usual MISMAtCHING clothes.  Sigh.  Not really going to be a crazy day for her.  Oh wait!  Look at what she's found in the dress up box: a crazy pink wig!  Whoa.  That wig reminds me of Medusa!  Are you sure those aren't snakes on her head?????

Hahaha!!!!  Ava is trying to wear my boots as part of her costume.  They're a *wee bit big* on her.  She's also got a bag of "tools" as she said she's dressing up like Daphne from the "Scooby Doo" television series (Daphne always has the right tool in her purse for anything you can think of).  Yep….that's goofy all right!  Oh!  And I totally forgot about the tiara she added to her (ahem) interesting ensemble.  :-)

PS. I've got a question for you- is it easier to view the photos when they're reduced in size and quality?  I know they're not crystal clear but my upload time has drastically changed since I've started shrinking the photos down before uploading them to the blog.
