7-9 May 2014-
The fifth graders are a bunch of lucky kids! They get to go on a two-night, three day trip to a place called Goose and Duck. I think it's actually more of a resort than a camp but I'm not sure as I've never seen it. The trip is part of their "transitions" unit – they're transitioning from (sniff, sniff) elementary students to (ack!) secondary students. (I'm a bundle of nerves just thinking about it!)
Ready to go!!!
Annika…at the very BACK of the bus:
Bye kids! Have fun!!! (teachers, good luck!!!!)
Every night I got a phone call from Annika. She said she was having so much fun! She got to bunk with her best friends – Mimi, ChaeRin and Clare. Annika said they got to go to Mutianyu (a fun section of the Great Wall) and got to ride the toboggan down the hill. Sweet! I want to do that too!!!!
I'm glad to have her back safe and sound…and I'm glad to hear she had a blast!!!
