Oh my goodness!
It seems to have happened ….AGAIN! Life keeps chugging away at full blast and I am having a difficult time keeping up-to-date posting current events in our family.
So, please indulge me and let me turn back the clock in the next several posts so that I can share with you what's been happening in our family!
Today I'd like to turn the clock back to …
10 June 2015 –
It's our TWENTIETH wedding anniversary! Twenty years. It's so hard to believe that two decades ago Mark and I got married in Anchorage. I am so grateful to have Mark as my partner-in-crime life. He's my bestest friend in the whole wide world. I don't think either us of could have predicted what our future selves would get to experience when we got married. Extra bonus – we added two beautiful daughters along the way (that we admire and love very much).
Plus, we're having so much fun! (all right, every day might not be fun but in the general scheme of life we're having a blast)
Our anniversary just happened to fall on the day before the girls and I left for the USA. However, we made sure to have all of our bags packed the night before and we went out on the town and celebrated our anniversary at a German restaurant known to us as 1308. 1308 is located on the river-front- just across from the Tianjin central train station.
Thanks girls for the fascinating and goofy faces!EEEEEEEEEEE!!!!! Mark surprised me! Mark had this giant bouquet delivered to the restaurant (waiting for us to arrive)….
Mark had asked for a big variety of flowers….what he got was a pre-made bouquet that they stuck into a single sunflower. *giggle* That poor yellow sunflower looks mighty lonely in that vast bouquet!
Thank you, thank you, thank you Mark for the gorgeous flowers! It's just too darn bad that I could only enjoy them for a few hours since we were leaving the very next day but they really made me happy!
Oh, here's to twenty more years together! Who knows where we'll wind up????
